On Monday 3 March 2025 Victorian Small Business Commissioner Lynda McAlary-Smith presented a webinar on how small business owners can avoid, de-escalate and resolve disputes.

This was a 30 minute ‘lunch and learn’ style webinar which provided a summary overview of common business disputes the VSBC assists to resolve, tips on how to avoid disputes, and guidance on how to manage a dispute in order to avoid it escalating and even (hopefully) resolve it without requiring assistance. The Commissioner also provided a summary of how the VSBC can assist with alternate dispute resolution services in the event that you cannot settle a matter yourself.
